The Children's Museum

Since school started on Monday, I haven't had a chance to post these pictures. But, we went to the children's museum last weekend and Carson had a good time. I think he was a bit overwhelmed, but he still enjoyed it! We'll have to go there a lot this winter.
He refused to get in the fire truck, but he loved the big semi. Do we see a future in long-haul trucking?

And again we see the love for Thomas! He was so mad when we took him away to go home.

Carson is getting really good at throwing. I think we're going to have to set the rule of only throwing balls outside!!

I love pizza. . .

. . .especially when it comes from Chucky Cheese. Yes, mom and dad finally gave in and went to the mad house. We wanted to do something fun before school starts tomorrow. It was too hot in the afternoon and raining in the evening so we couldn't do anything outside, so Chucky Cheese it was. It really wasn't that bad (excpet for the pizza) and Carson had a blast. I'm sure it won't be our last visit to the mouse's house.

Carson's new favorite toy is definitely Thomas the Tank Engine! These little trains can occupy him for hours. Hopefully his obcession doesn't get too big. Mom and dad don't want to spend the money on the really nice ones : )

I'm a Cousin - AGAIN!

Grandpa Mike's daughter McKenzie had a little boy on August 3rd. That means that Carson is a big cousin, again. Welcome to the world little Ashton Bailey!!

The Lincoln Zoo with Grandma

Carson had a fun time with Grandma at the zoo. It was his last day of summer before school (and daycare) start. The firetruck is definitely his favorite thing there.

Carson has become quite the boat boy. This was the first time that he actually enjoyed the airboat. He loved seeing all the animals out on the river. The boat is so loud, so we thought he'd be scared to death-but I guess he's toughened up a bit!

We spent the weekend at the Cabin with lots of family. We had a great time!!

Carson's a big boy!

We finally got Carson's new room set up and he loves his new bunk bed. He slept in it last night and only fell out one time. He doesn't even remember it! We are so excited that it was such an easy transition.
